
Registration and Student Affairs Division

The Registration and Student Affairs Division is one of the most important administrative units in educational institutions, as it assumes multiple responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the academic process. Among its most prominent tasks:
- Receiving and registering new students in accordance with the ministerial instructions, and ensuring the authenticity of their documents.
- Manage student files from admission to graduation, including the issuance of administrative orders for admission, failure, and disciplinary penalties.
- Follow-up on the affairs of the graduating students, such as preparing lists of successful students and issuing documents and certificates.
- Organizing the transfers and hosting between colleges in accordance with the controls and instructions.
- Prepare statistics and reports related to students, and update their database periodically.
- Coordinating with the official authorities to respond to correspondence related to the validity of the issuance of documents and certificates.
- Conducting electronic archiving to preserve students' files and ensure easy access to them.
The Registration Division is one of the most effective divisions in the colleges, as it is concerned with receiving students and documenting their presence in the college, and what makes this division of great importance is the first party that receives the student, and there is important information related to this division, which the student must know, to facilitate his registration task in the college.
Instructions of the Registration Division at the College for New Students:
- General Conditions for Admission to the College:
1- Iraqi nationality.
2- Holder of an Iraqi secondary school certificate, supported by a certificate from the General Directorate of Education in the governorate or an equivalent certificate.
3- Successful in the medical examination according to the conditions of each study, and the blind student who meets the conditions for applying for appropriate humanities studies is entitled to apply through the central admission.
4- Births:
- (2007) Upward Acceptance Centrally (Under 24 Years).
5. From the graduates:
A. The current academic year (2024-2025).
b. The previous academic year (2023-2024) is not accepted to any college or institute centrally and is admitted according to the minimum limits of their graduation year.
6- A full-time student may not combine the job with study in colleges and morning institutes, including employees of government institutions, and they are required to obtain a study leave from their departments in accordance with the instructions in force.
Required Documents:
1- The preparatory school document attested and stamped and a colored copy.
2- The medical examination form is in a sealed cover, provided that the result of the examination is noted directly by the nominated entity, and in case the student is unfit for the study to which he is nominated, it will be sent immediately to the Central Admission Office to amend his candidacy according to his health fitness, and the student will not be registered in case the mentioned form is not submitted at all, and a copy of the examination form will not be accepted, and the student has the right to appeal the result of the examination at the Department of Therapeutic Services and Health Insurance – Appeals Committees/Committees Section at the Ministry of Health through the nominating body for admission In it.
3. The student's Iraqi nationality certificate with a color photocopy.
4. The student's civil status ID with a color photocopy.
5. Ration card with a color illustrated version.
6. Housing card with a color photocopy or an original residence endorsement.
7. A color photo of the student No. 4.
8. Receiving the registration receipt and proceeding from the College Accounts Division after paying the fees.
9. In case the student is included with the distinction of the faculty members in the selection of the department, he must submit a letter of endorsement proving this along with a colored copy of the faculty member's ID and the photo of the teacher with the purpose of the letter of endorsement.
Mechanism of receiving students of the Faculty of Basic Education:
After the student confirms that his name is in the admission lists, he shall refer to the concerned college with all the official documents mentioned, and the student's attendance shall be mandatory as he may not be deputed, and the stages of his registration shall be as follows:
1- Receiving the registration forms from the "New Students Reception and Registration Committee" of the College Registration Division, which includes these forms (student file, student information form, ID application form, scientific department selection form).
2. All forms shall be filled out with the correct and accurate data of the student and submitted to the Registration Division with all the official documents of the student for the purpose of checking them and verifying the correctness of what is stated therein and placing them in his joint file.
3. The student shall address this file to the Director of the Registration Division for the purpose of signing the validity of the information received therein by the student.
4- Forming a committee of teachers in the specialization of (science, Arabic language and mathematics)

Admission Requirements for the College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat for the year 2025. :
Morning Study:
The applicant must be an Iraqi national.
Holder of a preparatory school certificate.
Successful medical examination.
Full-time study, as it is not permissible to combine a job and study, including employees of government institutions, unless they obtain a study leave from their departments.
Admission includes graduates of the current academic year and the previous year who have not been centrally admitted to any college or institute.
Applicants are subject to the conditions and regulations of the Central Admission announced by the Ministry.
Evening Study:
The applicant must be an Iraqi national.
Admission includes graduates of the preparatory studies in its literary and scientific branches, and for all years of graduation.
The applicant must be successful in the medical examination.
Continuing service teachers can apply regardless of their preparatory school background.
The acceptance rate is 60.

Admission Procedures
1- The student's name is indicated in the central admission lists
2. The student's name shall be entered in a special register of the Registration Department, and information about the student shall be provided.
3- The student receives an admission file containing information filled out by the student and the required documents.
4- The file is received after filling in the information and bringing all the documents written in the file.

The College of Basic Education/Al-Shirqat is now the only college concerned with the graduation of university teachers in Saleh Al-Din Governorate in general, despite the existence of more than one public and private university, more than one educational center, etc., and perhaps this makes it acquire a great role that enhances its career and supports its scientific movement, and there is no doubt that the university teacher is the basis of the scientific and progressive movement in each of the countries, as the country develops first through the development of its generation, and the generation does not develop unless a building is built. Scientifically sober, and all of this, in turn, requires unique educational energies that can carry this great message.
Despite the bitter conditions it went through in terms of migration, displacement, displacement and vandalism of all the college's properties, the College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat was able to graduate two courses, and the reality of the quality of the college's outputs has been proved, as lecturers or permanent staff appointees in public schools.
The college accepts students who are graduates of the preparatory studies in its scientific and literary branches, as well as graduates of Islamic studies and teachers who are nominated by the Ministry of Education.

4- Sakan card + student ration card or housing endorsement certified by the municipal council (2 color copies)
5- Civil Status ID + Iraqi Nationality Certificate for Father and Mother (2 color copies)
6- The sponsor's civil status ID + the ID of the department in which he works (2 color copies)
7- Medical examination from any health center (2 color copies)
8- A recent personal photo of the student with a white background (6 photos)
9- A CD containing all the above documents
Important Notes:
1- Copy the civil status ID or national ID with the student's one-sided citizenship certificate on an A4 paper.
2- Reproduction of the student's housing card and ration card on one side on an A4 size paper.
3. Not folding, bending, pressing, or puncturing the file of the submission, documents, and the original document.
4- Putting all the mentioned in a plastic file.

The College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat has graduated two courses since its establishment in 2012, the number of graduates in the first batch is 45 and in the second batch is 43
