Scientific Affairs Division: Research and Development Division at the heart of the college
The Scientific Affairs Division is one of the main and active divisions within the organizational structure of the college, due to its vital role in following up scientific research and meeting its requirements, which is considered the main goal of higher education institutions. This role is manifested in its organization of conferences, courses and workshops, as well as coordination with research departments in other ministries, which reinforces the pillars of community service and the national economy.
General Description of the Division's Function:
The Division is responsible for managing all matters related to research, conferences, and scientific and cultural seminars, in addition to organizing the affairs of its staff and related administrative and technical activities.
The main tasks of the Division are as follows:
Preparing the annual research plan of the college in cooperation with the teaching staff.
Holding conferences, scientific seminars and workshops.
Follow-up of pioneering research carried out by the faculty and external researchers associated with the college.
Research coordination with other state departments in order to serve the goals of development and serve the community and the national economy.
Follow-up the implementation of the college's research plan.
Obtaining letters of thanks from the Deanship for researchers who publish their research in reputable scientific journals.
Following up on the procedures for discharging teachers and issuing NOCs.
Managing and organizing scientific and cultural conferences and seminars within the college.
Archiving all files related to the academic aspect and the scientific titles of the teachers.
Organizing scientific promotion forms and completed and published researches.
Cooperating with state departments in marketing scientific products.
Follow up the daily mail and edit the incoming and outgoing administrative correspondence to and from the Division.
Obtaining letters of thanks for patented researchers.
Following up on the affairs of scholarships and graduates outside Iraq.
Follow up and document the testimonies of teachers inside and outside Iraq.
