Perhaps we are not wrong if we say that the book is the most important knowledge and cultural asset in scientific institutions, as the library is the most important scientific tributary that the colleges are adorned with, and believing in the importance of the library's role in the advancement and prosperity of the college, the College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat began to pay attention to the library and make it one of its most important priorities.
The library of the College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat has been established since the beginning of the establishment of the college in the academic year (2012-2013), and in a short period of its life, it was equipped with the necessary furniture that the library needs, such as wooden shelves, and furniture for the administrative matters of the library, and perhaps most importantly of all, the library was equipped with many important resources and books, as the library, despite its short life, contained approximately: (1250) titles in all scientific, literary and cultural fields.
In addition, a reading hall was established with the best specifications that encourage students to constantly visit the library, and two book fairs were held in the library hall, in which some authors participated, in addition to a drawing exhibition and another calligraphy exhibition was held in the library hall, in which a group of specialists in these two arts participated, as well as a group of college students.
The library is based on three pillars: a book that reads, eyes that read, and an honor department, and these three pillars have always been present in the journey of the college library.
The college library was established in 2012-2013.
- Vision and Objectives of the Library:
