The Maintenance Division is linked to the Office of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and is considered one of the important administrative divisions in the College of Basic Education / Al-Shirqat, which is concerned with all service works in the college, including restoration, rehabilitation, addition of buildings, electrical works, maintenance of classrooms, maintenance of gardens, and everything related to the service aspect and its connection to the educational aspect and the provision of all the requirements for the success of the educational process. The most important objectives of the division are:

1- Maintaining some of the general obstacles to the infrastructure (health facilities), sanitation and communications.
2- The permanence of the work of the electrical system (National – Generator).

3. Submit reports on the extent of damages and priorities of work, and follow up and evaluate the completion of works.
4. Maintaining the college's facilities, buildings, and gardens.

5- Paying attention to the cleanliness of the college, following up on deficiencies and rehabilitating buildings.

The Maintenance Division is a link between the University Office and the Engineering Division at the University of Tikrit.
